My Summer Vacation

My summer this year started early!!!!! My grandma Jacie (pronounced jackie) came up from Georgia to pick me up (after she spent a couple days here) and take me on a three week trip to the North West!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was soooooooo fun! On our trip we went to the Seatle Space Needle, Pike's Place Market, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse National Monument, and much much more. We also went various native american resorvations (which is why we came on this trip anyway so we could find artifacts for her two stores she has in Georgia.) We visited Montana, Washington state, Oregon, South Dakota, and Nevada.

After we got back from our three week long adventure i had a couple weeks before we went to Park City, Utah for an art show so I spent those hanging out with friends, swimming, and working. During those couple weeks Raigbri was going on and they ended up coming right by our house so I set up Lucia's Energy Blast Station to sell drinks and treats. I ended up making a whole $3.00 so instead of selling my treats I handed them out as sample's. Even though I didn't make much I still had fun with my mom handing out treats.

We headed for Park City, Utah with out my Brother. He decided to stay behind to take a mentoring class so he could be an excutive mentor this year ( I didn't mind I had the whole back seat to my self!!!) When we got to Park City we got our condo we rented and unpacked all of our stuff. When we finished that we went to explore the downtown area where the show was going to be and met up with some friends of ours. The rest of the time I was there I spent the morning at the condo and then road my longboard (it's like a skateboard but longer) down to the show and spent the rest of my day at the show drawing or looking around. The show was about three LONG days (and it wasn't the greatest either.)and we were all happy when it was over.

As soon as we got back from Park City we had about two days until we had to start setting up for the Iowa State Fair, so we unpacked rested and then got to work on setting up for the fair. After the three days of set up at the fair we were all exhausted, but we had no time to rest because now the fair started. Everybody in my family was working every day there except for me so in most cases i was out there all day every day (it might sound fun but after a couple days of that it gets boring!!!!!) When the fair was actually of for every one else we still had to tear down and pack every thing up so that took till midnight the last night of the fair and then a whole other day to finish up the rest of it. This is the first time I've ever said it and I thought I would never say this but I was tired of the fair and I was happy to wait the rest of the year for it to come again. So that was my crazy summer i hope you enjoyed reading about it.
